INTERPRETING & REPORTING FASHION
For this project, I created a trend research magazine based on current fashion trends, events, designers, and entertainment. It was created in Spring of 2014, where trends were based for Fall 2014. Throughout the entire project, there was a lot of research that went into each magazine page. I was able to begin utilizing my Adobe Create Suite skills. As this was put together within InDesign, the page
layout and editing played an important role in the overall look and flow of the magazine.
This project was one that I greatly enjoyed. It was something that I hadn’t done before, which allowed me to take on a new challenge. I was able to go outside of my comfort zone to research new styles and techniques. I was also able to act as a street reporter for the ‘Street Stalker’ page. Going out and about in San Francisco looking for many of the unique styles and fashions that
this city has to offer was a really interesting experience.
