FASHION ILLUSTRATION
This project is a collection of fashion illustrations and drawings over the course of one semester. The particular project includes fashion illustrations of on model,10 minute poses as well as sketchbook assignments to further grasp concepts and techniques. This was a fun project for me, as it is something that is very relaxing. It has also enabled me to try something new and to be different in my work.
There are many different mediums that I used during this project, including marker and ink, watercolor, pastels, and magazine clippings - all used on either newsprint or drawing paper. Being able to apply different techniques and skills to my drawings allowed me to be open about making mistakes and fixing them as they arise. The particular pieces used in this project represent the female silhouette, shape, color, varied line, and the ability to edit. These are some of my favorite pieces through the project that represent my fashion illustration style and the uniqueness that it says about me.
